• 8 sessions in this course (1 hour each session) • No prior experience necessary • Studio learning on professional Ableton software • Virtual instruction available (Zoom) • Course Scheduling: You schedule your first session online during purchase, then schedule the remaining sessions with your instructor directly. EMP1 is our beginners and intermediates course to electronic music production. In these 8 sessions, you’ll learn the basic principles and techniques of electronic music production in a creative environment and of course, how to produce your own track! You’ll get to use drum computers, synthesizers, the latest DJ equipment, and powerful Ableton Live software (used by industry professionals) to make your own sounds and beats. We also work with Logic Pro and FL Studio software. If you’ve always wanted to make your own song or remix, and have little to no experience with music production, this is the course for you! Subjects covered in this course: - Introduction to Software - Beats: Arranging in Different Genres - Effects & Automation - The Art of Sampling - Synthesis: Design Your Own Sounds - EQ-ing & Mixing - Bring your music to the stage!
