The Beatfabriek team is a passionate and eclectic group of mentors, instructors, and creative professionals whom have been grooming musical artists since 2013.
Our faculty members are highly influential players in the industry who strive to help you develop your passion for music, by bringing their diverse experience and rich knowledge to the classroom in every course. Our team has over 20 years of experience in the electronic music industry as DJs, producers, bookers, event managers, and even professional party-go-ers!

JOOST VAN DER MEER
FOUNDER
DJ - Producer - Coach -  Mentor
As the face of Beatfabriek, Joost van der Meer has spent more than two decades as a resident DJ (aka DJ Joost Dulac) in some of the best clubs in the Netherlands and Germany. As DJ Dulac, he plays a wide range of music from disco, deep house and tech house, to techno. He is also a music producer known by the alias Immørtale, under which he produces a mixture of different hard, underground techno sounds. He thrives in performing live sets in which he can combine his love of drum machines and DJing at the same time.
As an entrepreneur and mentor, Joost founded Beatfabriek in 2013, where he spends his time teaching the art and craft of DJing, music production, and coaching some of the best electronic music artists of our time.
With more than 10 years of experience teaching electronic music production at the University of Amsterdam and mentoring young students at the PACT Music Producers school, Joost is an adaptable, thorough, and highly technically skilled instructor for students of all backgrounds.

ERIC RUMKORF
CO-OWNER
DJ / Producer - Personal coach & Artist Promotion - Event Management
Eric Rumkorf entered the electronic music scene during one of the first waves of DJs in Amsterdam. With extensive experience working in the world-renowned Rhythm Import Recordstore, he had direct access to the best records. Eric was also a longtime resident in the Flora Palace one of the most famous clubs known for house music in the early days. Produced several vinyl records during those days and joined in the present DAW Ableton and Logic.

As a promoter, Eric is the man behind the artist. With a strong background in business, he is ready to market, promote and guide rising musicians into the limelight. He is able via coaching education NLP - Nobco certified to support artist with personal coaching.
Eric’s strengths lay in his executive management level industry experience, speed, and knowledge. He is able to effectively organise and build a personalized approach to fit whatever creative needs his clients have.
Beatfabriek has acces to the Industriële Grootte Club Amsterdam (Dam square) as well to Amstel Business Club (Amstel Hotel) and the golf club The Dutch.
